So at the moment I am working with DCC, doing a few tropical cooking/ garden workshops for “Healthy Darwin”, a new part of council promoting healthy living. There are all kinds of free work out/ fun workshops..
For 6 weeks, in conjunction with Nutition NT, we are running a combo of basic workshops to start people gardening and eating from the garden or local produce at Karama Primary School, after school. It includes a nutrition talk, gardening workshop and a cooking part. Last week was our first week and we had great participation and everyone had a great time. I need to ask the lovely people involved to use their photos, so for now, here is a pic of some leafy greens we picked for the work shop from Lakeside Drive Community Garden.
